GRADUATION

We invite all our HCA student body as well as their family and friends to join us in honoring the 31^st graduating class of HCA tonight at 7:30 p.m. Students in grades seven through eleven are required to attend. Students must arrive by 7:00 p.m. and stay for the commencement exercises. The chorale will wear their concert outfits. All other boys must wear dress pants, ties, and dress shoes. Girls should wear nice Sunday-type outfits.

FIELD DAY

Thursday, June 7, is our annual elementary field day activities. A permission slip is going home today. The permission slip indicates on the bottom what to bring in for the picnic. Mrs. Amber Jones and the junior class will coordinate this activity for HCA. We look forward to a fun end-of-the-year activity for our elementary classes. Please pray for good weather. If you are helping with the field day picnic, please park in the Presbyterian parking lot.

END-OF-THE-YEAR REMINDERS

The 2007-2008 school calendar will be included with the June final report card mailout. It will also be posted on our website.
If you have medications for your child stored in the school office, the medications may be picked up during the week of June 4. All medications must be picked up by the close of school on Thursday, June 7.
Students entering grade seven and grade eleven must have updated State of Connecticut health forms on file before the 2007-2008 school year begins. Letters and forms were went home in April.

LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL

On Monday, June 4, there will be a FULL DAY of school. School will be dismissed at 12:00 noon on June 5,6,7. This is for all grades. Please make your plans now. The secondary students will be taking their final exams and need extra time for study. Grades seven through eleven will be traveling to Harkness Park on Friday, June 8. This is considered a regular school day, and all students are expected to attend this fun-filled day as they wrap up the school year. A permission form will go home on Monday. The cost for this trip is $5.00 and should accompany the signed permission form upon its return.

AWARDS PROGRAM AND KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION

June 7 is our awards program and our kindergarten graduation. Students must be here by 7:00 p.m. Elementary boys should wear a shirt, tie, nice pants (no cargo), and shoes. Elementary girls should wear nice outfits. Secondary boys should wear dress shirts, ties, dress pants, and shoes. Secondary girls should wear nice outfits meeting HCA dress code standards.
